I first saw this series when it was released only for the Chinese market and I fell in love with the greenhouse.
Over time, I have begun building and then collecting the rest. Finding the Chocolate shop was a little difficult but I eventually found it in Game Traders at Garden City. This completed my set.

What I love about the kits

• The difficulty level is 1-2 stars with an estimated build time of 1-1.5 hours. This is just a guideline. I never complete kits in that time. Sometimes this is because I have to make repairs, but I also paint all of my edges.
• Each build fits in the palm of your hand

• Space: Space is important for most (if not all builders). These builds are fun and don’t take up a lot of space
• The tiny details are great. From the individually wrapped chocolates to the puppy tied up outside the pet store, Robotime excels with tiny details.
• The variety of stores – from an astronomy store to a garden store. These little builds cater for all
• The price point: These are perfect for people who enjoy building miniatures but don’t have the $50+ to outlay on a good quality build.

What I didn’t like:

• The wood in each of these kits is quite thin and requires careful handling. There are no spare pieces included in this kit, so gluing becomes your friend. Pay particular care when putting in the supports of the curved front on the astronomy shop.
• The curved windows in the music store requires careful handling as well. A dab of glue in the slots will hold it in place.

Overall, these little store kits are a fun and mostly quick builds. They are the perfect palate cleansers in between your larger builds.
Ideally, I would love Robotime to release more in this series with some different types of stores, such as a haberdashery, furniture store, or even a Robotime store—that would be fun.
